BIPSTOP

ATS 165

ATMI

This float level switch (NO or NC) allows the automation of small pumps either live (up to 1.5 HP) or unlimited through a relay. With its 165º wide differential angle, the ATS 165 level switch provides smooth level contact on pump motors and electrical devices.
Also, it can detect both the high and low level in the same tank whose hysteresis does not exceed 1.5 m. This model is also available in an ACS certified version for use in drinking water for human consumption. See the ATS 165 EP level switch.

ATS 165 EP

ATMI

This ACS certified float level switch is constructed with special components for use in drinking water applications. Thanks to its big switching angle of 165º, the ATS 165 protects the pump’s engine and the electrical panels from jerking. This float the ideal solution for level control in tower tanks, for example. Also, it can detect the both high and low level in the same tank whose hysteresis does not exceed 1.5 meter. This  float level switch can be connected directly to pumps up to 1.5 HP or through a relay if working with high power pumps.

SOBA SMALL

This level regulator is technically similar to SOBA but smaller in size, ideal for small tanks.
It detects the level by tilting the float  which activates the contact connected to a panel control , closing or opening the pump supply circuit, alarm, or others.
The device can also be used in high or low alarm. The SOBA SMALL level regulator is equipped with a 250g loaded resin ballast , adjustable on the cable, which facilitates the rotation point of the level regulator and allows it to work in a wide range of densities.

This level regulator is designed for charged liquids. When the liquide reaches  the regulator, the pear tilts and the mechanical contact will close or open the circuit, thus controlling the stop or the starting of a pump or an alarm. This ACS certified float level switch is constructed with special components for use in drinking water applications. As the liquid level reaches the unit, the mechanical switch inside will tilt, thus closing or opening a circuit connected to an electrical panel This float level switches is equipped with a stainless steel (AISI 316L) adjustable ballast, and ensures a very precise level measurement thanks to its +-/ 25º switching angle.
The SOBA EP can also be used in high or low alarm (overfill protection or protection against idling). However, when the liquid is agitated by the presence of an agitator or in a water tower, you have to take a float with a wide angle like the ATS 165 EP

This ACS certified float level switch is constructed with special components with internal ballast for use in drinking water applications. As the liquid level reaches the unit, the mechanical switch inside will tilt, thus closing or opening a circuit connected to an electrical panel. Thanks to its +/- 10° switching angle the float can ensures a very precise level measurement thanks. Also it can be used in high or low alarm.
However, the AQUA MEDIUM EP level regulator is not suitable for agitated liquids by the presence of an agitator or in a water tower. Please choose our float switch model: ATS 165 EP, ACS certified. For pump control of several levels with several pumps in calm liquid with a float level switch equipped with a stainless steel adjustable ballast, choose the SOBA EP, ACS certified.

Its small 1″ diameter allows it to pass through the narrow openings usually found on the side walls of tanks. As the liquid level reaches the float, the mechanical switch inside will tilt, thus closing or opening a circuit connected to an electrical panel. Thanks to its +/-20º switching angle, the TUBA float level switch ensures a very precise level measurement.. The installation is possible up to a water depth of 55 meters. The TUBA 1” float level switch can be installed in 3 ways :

SOLIBA

This tilt level switch has been designed to provide high level measurement in silos or any other type of storage containers located in non-hazardous areas.
Its operation is very simple: Vertically suspended at the desired high level point, the SOLIBA will tilt as the grain reaches the unit. To secure your facilities at a minimum cost, the installation of a SOLIBA high level mechanical tilt level switch is strongly recommended, even if your facilities are already equipped with other types of equipment such as: rotating paddles, vibrating forks, radars, capacitive and ultrasonic sensors, etc. The SOLIBA tilt level switch only operates when the high level is reached, unlike other types of level measurement devices that operate permanently. The tilt level switch must be installed at the opposite side of the arrival of grain and at a certain distance from the silo walls. This to ensure an optimal tilting operation.

ATEX tilt level switches

The SOLIBA EX GP is an ATEX certified tilt level switch for bulk solids located in hazardous areas 0, 1, 2 (gas) and 20, 21, 22 (dust) . It has been designed to provide high level measurement in silos or any other type of storage containers.
The SOLIBA EX GP tilt level switch must be installed at the opposite side of the arrival of grain and at a certain distance from the silo walls. This to ensure an optimal tilting operation. For certain applications it is recommended to use an external ballast on the electrical cable. See external ballasts for SOLIBA tilt level switches. A metal protection is available in option for any application involving physical shocks on the device or for high level detection of excessive-height bulk solids in all types of belt conveyors. For certain installations, the multifunction plug is the ideal accessory for theBIP STOP float level switches and AT 120 float level switches. 
Connected to the edge of the electrical cable, the multifunction plug allows the float switch to automate manual pumps.


EXTERNAL BALLASTS FOR SOLIBA TILT LEVEL SWITCHES

For the SOLIBA tilt level switch for bulk solids, the ballast is proposed in option. Thanks to its +/- 10º tilting agle, the SOLIBA tilt level switch detects accurately the arrival of grains, cereals, powders, pellets, etc., without the need of a ballast on the cable.
However, if there is big distance between the high level fixation point of the cable and the SOLIBA tilt switch, a certain space should be available for the tilting mechanism to work properly. This is most likely the case in restricted-space grain bulk storage zones and silos. In fact, if there is not enough space available for the SOLIBA to tilt, the device might be blocked against the silo wall and can end up being buried in the grain.
For this specific case we recommend an adjustable ballast on the cable that would work as tilting point of the device, allowing a quicker and more accurate tilting cycle. Besides, the ballast adds some weight to the SOLIBA unit and allows it to remain in a better vertical position. This is particularly interesting when there’s much air flow inside the silos or bulk storage zones.
 External ballasts for SOLIBA tilt level switches
ATMI offers you several types of ballasts:
For the tilt level switche SOLIBA:
– Loaded resin ballast (250gr) for cable diameter from 7,8 mm to 8,9 mm
– Ecological « clip » ballast (275gr) for cable diameter from 7,8 mm to 8,9 mm
– Loaded resin ballast (350gr) for cable diameter from 7,8 mm to 8,9 mm
For tilt level switches SOLIBA EX P and SOLIBA EX GP:

METAL CASE PROTECTION FOR SOLIBA TILT LEVEL SWITCHES

This detector has a very strong special protection. In fact, it consists of a cast aluminum metal cage and a level detector for solidSOLIBA  or SOLIBA EX P ATEX certified in zones 21, 22 (dust).
